I have looked but I never quite got a straight answer on this. Is this the Rev-8 pretty much a maverick with 2 extra shots or what.

...Sorta. The accuracy is...eh, the range is around 60', but it takes a bitchin long time to load it and you really wouldn't hit anything with it. I wouldn't get one. But I did, and regret it. You could get one if you wanted to stick a 2K into it or something, but otherwise, I wouldn't buy one just to use it modded-it takes an hour to mod, and it's really frustrating.

I would definately get some more 2Ks while you can and try my bolt-action mod (increased range, 3-round clip, increased RoF, and I have pictures getting developed for a detailed write-up), and the Dart Tag set, just because they kick-ass in close-quarters combat. And possibly a BBB, but the accuracy(at least the way I mod it) is..lacking, but it's still pretty good.

When I just stick the dart into the barrel, no help at all, if get about 60-70'. When you ramrod it really good I can get close to 100'.
