Intoduction:
In battle, how fast and how accurately you can lay down fire plays a large role in the outcome. This guide should give you a bit of insight into the different techniques of barrels and loading.
Body:
Pictured here are the majority of barrel and "clip" types that the Celtic Wolf Clan uses in their wars. There is a standard 1' single barrel (black, top left), a breech connector w/ 10' barrel (white, top left), tri-clips (3-6" barrels, bottom left), 5-round clips (bottom right), and a 5-round belt (top right).
Single Barrel
This barrel is the most accurate, but requires the longest reload time. After firing, you must take the barrel off, shove a dart in the back, and then ram it back into the coupler, adjusting it for accuracy. These are mainly used on long-range primaries.
Pros: High accuracy
Cons: Long reload
Tri-Clips
This idea was originally Lefty's, and yourworstnightmare brought it into the clan. You load a dart into the back of each barrel, and have three ready-to-go shots. These are horribly innacurate at long range, but provide a fast reload time. They are primarily used in covering/suppressing fire, or in assault.
Pros: Fast reload
Cons: Not that accurate
Breech
This is basically the same thing as a single-barrel, except it cuts down on reload time. So, high acurracy, fairly fast reload time.
Pros: Accurate, fairly fast reload
Cons: Prone to breakage in the middle of a war.
5-round Clips
This was my first multi-barrel clip design, but is uniquely used on the sneakshot. They provide a fast reload time, and mediocre accuracy. They're smaller than tri-clips, and have an even faster reload time due to the shorter distance they have to cover to reload.
Pros: Fast reload, fair accuracy
Cons: Prone to falling off the gun in the middle of a battle
5-round Belt
These are used for sidearms, primarily my TTG and NF. They provide high accuracy and a fast reload time.
Pros: Good range, accuracy, reload
Cons: None
These are all of the barrels and "clips" that the CWC uses.
Hope you enjoy,
