Everything is redone now and I would like to apologize to those who have signed up over the last few months. I haven't been keeping up with my admins either, thus I apologize to them as well. Well anyway, everything is now

I'm curious, why use pro boards? I know of quite a few better hosts. Maybe you'd like php server, it has a ton of features, uch as displaying extra groups (like you can display when a reviewer is on as well as admins and mods, I'd probably be the one to configure it though, I have a ton of experience in php forums). Here's my throw-together sample/Nerf X failure. Sample Look at how it looks. Like TINH kind of. And maybe use Bravenet for the actual site. These are both hosts that are easy o manage, full of features, and independant for the most part (solving the need to update the CP often). Just suggestion to avoid problem like this. ~Zach |

The reason why I use porboards is because I only have to use it for another year before I start getting free credits. Also, proboards gives the best tech support of any forum i have ever owned. Essentially too, I like the fact that the CP needs alot of attention. It gives you alot more options than sites like PHPBB and invision.

Alright, now I won't decry the use of YaBB, but you DO realize that you're wrong about YaBB having more options, right? Sure, phpBB in stock form is crappy, heck even I hated it before I found some sweet hosts. Have you ever heard of mods for forums? Well, phpbb server has those coming out of its butthole. If I had the time and rescources, I could take a free forum host like Jconserv an make it look like a beefed up NHQ. Yeah, don't EVER say that phpbb isn't better than another forum (except for vBulletin) because I could seriously prove you wrong. Allow me to list all of the features phpbb has that YaBB doesn't.
1. A portal page like TINH.
2. Extended colors like NHQ.
3. The ability to list users (such as reviewers) on the whose online section.
4. An extended whose online feature.
5. Over 500 templates that can be nearly completely customized.
6. Junior Admins (if you're lucky enough to find them, I haven't yet).
7. Many other things I don't care to list including a built-in chatroom.
Put it this way, if you MUST use YaBB, use HyperBoards. You can add pages to it, in fact, I'll get a demo up soon.
Nice job fixing things though.

My first question is if you hate porboards so much why join this forum?
My second is why would I use another forum when this one works fine.

Well, I joined here because (1. As far as I know, I can, which I did, and (2. Because I like you guys.
I suggested you switch because not 10 minutes ago, I got an error where I couldn't use this box. Errors like that is why I swapped over to phpbb. They don't get bugs easily.

I will agree with that. My plans are to switch over once I have time to really work on a new forum. (time isn't easy to come by lately) Until then though I am sort of stuck with this.
